Those Tweets to Your Peeps can be a Handy Way to Collaborate

So you may use Twitter to send tweets to your peeps, but you can use Twitter for a lot more than letting your friends know what kind of cereal you ate for breakfast. In particular, Twitter offers many possibilities for collaborating with others, be it marketing, or dissemenating information to a larger network.

Nancy White of Full Circle, put together a Twitter Collaboration Stories wiki, where people can share the various ways they use Twitter to collaborate with others. This ever-growing list includes many innovative uses for Twitter, including:

  • Call for suggestions: Get instant feedback on questions or ideas you are wondering about.
  • Dissemenating information and materials to others: Let others know when grant deliverables or other important information is up online. Others in your network can pass the link on to their networks to easily spread the word.
  • Capture that great idea before it slips away: Quickly capture those ideas as they occur to you, then use your "Twitter list" (history) later on to recollect and organize your ideas further.

Join in on the wiki and collaborate in yet another way by sharing your own Twitter stories.
