Survey: How Are Nonprofits Using Web 2.0 for Fundraising?

SupportingAdvancement.com has released the results of a survey on the use of Web 2.0 tools for fundraising. Most of the responses came from K-12 schools, colleges, and universities. The questions posed included:

  • Which Web 2.0 technologies are you using?
  • How successful do you feel you have been?
  • Are there any URLs you’d like to share to provide examples to others of some of the work you’re doing?
  • What strategies have you implemented to integrate these technologies into your programs?
  • What strategies have you implemented to get your constituents interested in areas where you’re using these technologies?
  • What metrics have you defined for measuring success?
  • Do you have any policies or formal guidelines in place for handling any of these technologies?
  • Do you have any staff or budget specifically devoted to handling any of these technologies?
  • Do you have any policies or guidelines in place for collecting/not collecting information from social networking sites?
