One More Reason to Go Green: Low-Cost Refurbished Computers Now Offered with Better Specs
You know that getting a refurbished computer is better for the environment, but you may have held off because you thought they couldn't perform well enough for your nonprofit. Now, the RCI program at TechSoup Stock is giving you another reason to go green: it recently announced that it's upgrading many of its refurbished desktop and laptop computers to include more RAM, more hard drive space, or both.
To make these computers more accessible for the nonprofits that need them, RCI has also taken the step of reducing the administrative fee on all 16 refurbished computer offerings by up to 18 percent.
More and more nonprofits nationwide are deciding to add refurbished computers to their networks because of the low cost and environmental benefits, and also because of the quality of the computer they're receiving. RCI offers warrantied computers from name brands such as Dell, IBM, and Compaq, and they're guaranteed to be in excellent working condition by their refurbisher partners.
You can find more information about the RCI program and learn how your nonprofit can request refurbished computers at TechSoup Stock's Web site.
