Deadline Approaching: 2008 Mellon Awards for Technology Collaboration

Know a nonprofit that has done an exceptional job of developing open source solutions for its constituents? Then be sure to nominate them for the 2008 Mellon Awards for Technology Collaboration (MATC Awards)

The MATC Awards recognize organizations that have made a significant contribution to the development of open source software solutions that benefit (or potentially benefit) a constituency served by The Andrew Mellon Foundation. These include arts and humanities in higher education; research libraries, museums; performing arts organizations; and conservation biology sectors. Winners are awarded at the $50,000 level or at the $100,000 for open source projects offering bigger benefits to larger and/or multiple than one constituencies. More than one award may be given at each level.

The deadline to submit nominations in April 14, 2008. You can find the online nomination form and more details on the Mellon Foundation Website.
