"Damn You, Tenby!"
After testifying before a Congressional committee on the virtual world of Second Life last week, TechSoup's Senior Manager of Online Community Development Susan Tenby became the official rock star of TechSoup when a segment of her testimony was picked up by The Daily Show last night.
Having watched Susan go from new Second Life enthusiast to nationally recognized expert, I was really excited to see her (and her avatar) recognized on national TV, if not for her efforts to bring the virtual world to nonprofits, then at least for her great sense of humor. As one of our former coworkers noted, "Susan may be famous in Second Life, but we can say we know her in the First Life."
