NetSquared Hackathon May 4th
We recently reported about the DonateNow mashup challenge. On May 4 from 12-5pm, TechSoup's NetSquared project, in partnership with Sun Microsystems, is inviting you to bring your mashup for social impact project to the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
This event will give you an opportunity to meet with product managers, engineers and other technology experts attending Sun's Community One Conference who are interested in directing their talent and programming skills to your work. Participants at the event will include students from local universities, attendees from CommunityONE and JavaONE, and other technology providers interested in contributing their expertise to NetSquared Projects.
Want to participate? Here's how:
1. Register for the event by sending an email with the details below to meetup.mashup@sun.com. In this email, please provide the following information:
- Your name.
- The link to your project's URL in the Project Gallery. If you haven't submitted a project yet, you can access the project submission form by logging into your NetSquared account. You'll see a prompt on your user page that says, "Submit your Mashup Project Idea." If you click on that, it will take you to the Mashup Project Idea Submission Form.
- A quick description about what kind of technical support you're looking for, including a note about what Development Phase you're working on:
- I: Concept
- II: Building Product Specification
- III: Specification Ready for engineers to develop into Mashup
- Please indicate if you are interested in being a discussion leader at the event.
Space is limited, so please sign up today!
