OECD Publishes Findings on Malware

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recently published a high level report on the state of malware and how it is affecting, and will affect, the Internet economy. Aimed mainly at policy-makers, the report is also good primer on malware and Internet security for non-technical readers.

Its key recommendation of "organising a global 'Anti-Malware Partnership' involving governments, the private sector, the technical community and civil society to produce joined-up policy guidance to fight malware on all fronts" highlights the need for nonprofits and non-governmental organizations to be part of the solution to addressing the global problem of malware and cybersecurity.
