Free and Green Online Event this Wed. 11/12 in the TechSoup Global discussion forums

It's not easy being green-much less greening a whole organization, but TechSoup Global's GreenTech program wants to help get you started! Mark your calendars for TechSoup Global's free one-day online event, Wednesday, November 12: Reduce Paper Use: Greening the Planet and Helping Your Nonprofit's Budget.

This event is part of GreenTech's month-long campaign to reduce your paper usage. We'll be joined by hosts Susan Kinsella, Executive Director of Conservatree, and Jim Lynch, TechSoup Global's Director of Computer Recycling & Reuse and GreenTech Program, They'll provide guidance and tools on how to make concrete changes. Take advantage of this opportunity to connect directly with experts in this field and the growing community of people working in nonprofits and libraries who are interested in greening their organizations.

Join us Wed. Nov. 12, for a free, one-day online event, as we discuss issues such as:

  • Simple steps your organization can take right now to reduce paper use
  • How to overcome some of the barriers for implementing green changes at your nonprofit
  • Tips and tricks for how organizations and individuals can reduce their environmental impact
  • Ways to make reducing your paper use cost-effective as well as ecologically-friendly

Take part in the conversation Wed. Nov. 12 in the TechSoup Global forums as we explore these topics and more. This event is asynchronous (not live). No registration is required, just show up and post! If you have any questions about the event, please email: community@techsoup.org.
