No More Paper Tickets
A few months ago I interviewed Don Kelly from Vallejo Music Theatre in Vallejo, California for a webinar I was planning and learned that he was saving reams of paper by switching to an online ticketing system versus printing paper tickets for their performances. Here's what Don had to say:
Before we started using Vendini Software we were printing our own tickets and using 2-3 reams of paper each time. Now we have "gone green" and don't print tickets at all.
Since TechSoup's GreenTech Initiative is focused on reducing paper usage this month, (see the recorded webinar on the topic), I felt this was good information to share for other organizations who may ticket for events, shows, raffles, or performances. You can also find more information about ticketing software in this thread in our community forum.
