5 Minutes to Web 2.0 Basics
So maybe you're new to the Web 2.0 thing and aren't quite sure if you're understanding the concepts behind these tools. Or maybe you're well-versed in 2.0, but need to educate others in your organization about these technologies. Consider a helpful online resource to help get you started.
Common Craft Show offers several free online video presentations that help shed de-mystify many 2.0 tools. In five minutes or less, their video tutorials explain the basics in an easy-to-understand, often humerous manner using sheets of paper, stick figures, and hand-drawn diagrams. Recent episodes have included RSS, wikis, social networking, and social bookmarking. Common Craft also allows these presentations to be saved and used for offline, non-commerical purposes, if attribute is given, making these handy materials for training purposes.
