Flickr Adds Twitter Integration
Ian at roots.lab reports that Flickr has just added a "post to Twitter" feature. If you use either or both of these tools to keep followers up to date on the work you're doing in the field, the new feature is great news. It's already gained a lot of traction in the past week.
Of course, Twitpic has been letting users send photos to Twitter for some time, and I don't think Twitpic will be going anywhere. What's great about the Flickr integration, though, is that it takes advantage of the cool social networking features of Flickr. When you post a Flickr photo to Twitter, it gives your Twitter followers the opportunity to learn more about your nonprofit from its Flickr presence.
