Founded in 2010, the Bulgarian nonprofit Pathways encourages students to further their education in Bulgaria and abroad with a focus on technology and entrepreneurship through an innovative curriculum, interactive classroom experience, and student-teacher collaboration. Pathways is able to provide high-quality computer science education, an extensive English language curriculum, and wide-ranging entrepreneurship resources with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
To equip its students with the best in technology training, Pathways has to have the latest in technology. Finding the means to afford the latest software and hardware might seem a difficult feat for a small organization with a strong mission. However, with help from TechSoup Bulgaria, Pathways was able to improve its centralized IT infrastructure with Microsoft Server software and achieved increased operational efficiency between its two office locations. TechSoup Bulgaria also helped Pathways to provide its students with access to the latest edition of Microsoft Office, an essential tool for succeeding in today's digital workplace.
