School of Arts for Disadvantaged Children and Youths-Dedal (SADCY-Dedal), a Bulgarian nonprofit, unites artists, musicians, photographers, videographers, writers, and arts education supporters to create free arts programs for gifted children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
SADCY-Dedal helps artistically talented children develop their skills through art trainings, creative forums, exhibitions, performances, and other activities in the visual arts and related fields.
Because of a donation of Microsoft Windows and Office software from TechSoup Bulgaria, SADCY-Dedal was able to add new Digital Arts School classes to its curriculum. The new offerings include photography, filmmaking, graphic design, and animation and introduce students to arts in the digital age.
