The Face of Women's Rights

Face to Face Bulgaria is a non-governmental organization, founded in 2002, working to reduce the number of victims of human trafficking. It is also involved in prevention campaigns aiming to protect potential victims. It is a subsidiary organization of Face to Face International.

Since 2002, Face to Face organizes prevention programs for children and youths all over the country by informing them about the traps human traffickers set for them. These include some tempting proposals to work abroad.

A team of experts works on increasing society's tolerance and empathy for victims of sex trafficking and the problems they face. The team also strives to provide the children from social institutions with free access to educational programs and specialized courses, giving them an equal start in life.

Through discussions, trainings, and lobbying the respective state institutions, Face to Face manages to achieve higher efficiency in realizing its goals and better coordination between the state and the civil society.

The Microsoft software donation helped the staff become more efficient, especially in terms of preparing presentations and other visual-aid materials. Before the organization received the products, it used open-source software but often had problems with visual presentations because they tended to not be compatible with equipment running Microsoft software.
