The Groninger Landscape Foundation is committed to conservation management, development of nature landscape, and cultural history in Groningen, Netherlands.
The local landscape is quite varied. It is a backdrop complete with salt marshes, polders lakes, rivers, and forests. Some have been there for centuries, such as the glorious Ennemaborgh and distinguished Coenders Borch. Other naturally occurring resources, such as Polder Breebaart and Krop Wolder Pool Polder, are also unique to the area.
All of these resources are worthy of preservation and protection. The foundation owns about 8,000 acres of protected land, which is home to many plants and animals, including several rare and endangered species. The organization works according to a management plan to raise both funds and awareness.
Thanks to the donation of Microsoft software through TechSoup NL, the donation program operated by TechSoup Global Network partners SOCIALware and Stichting GeefGratis, the Groninger Landscape Foundation optimized its CRM network and total system for customer relationships. It is now better equipped to interact with potential supporters, better enabled to capture information and data and to improve the impact of its interactions.
