The Erlebniszentrum Naturgewalten Sylt, or The Sylt Center of Experiencing the Elements, is a science center with year-round exhibits on Sylt island and the Wattenmeer national park in Germany. It showcases the significance of this region by opening up the public's eyes to its beauty and biodiversity.
The public is invited to learn more about these regions through a number of exhibits spread out over 1,500 square meters. The three main sections explore forces of the North Sea, living with the elements, and climate,weather, and climate research. Each concept incorporates interactive elements for more entertaining and engaging learning.
The center reached out to Stifter-helfen.de IT for Nonprofits, a member of the TechSoup Global Network, to obtain a Microsoft software package. The IT donations helped facilitate the coordination of appointments at the center. In addition, they helped accelerate the communication and information sharing among its staff, making these processes even more efficient.
