Conway Interfaith Clinic

Tech Donation Advances Clinic for Uninsured in Arkansas

Currently 20 percent of people in Faulkner County in Arkansas do not have health insurance. The Conway Interfaith Clinic was conceived to provide medical and dental services for these individuals and families.

Along with dental care, the clinic holds screenings in its local county to make children and their parents aware of dental health. The organization has provided dental care to over 7,000 patients since 2003. Its medical program has offered services to over 1,700 uninsured patients with approximately 6,500 total visits. Its Patient Assistance Pharmaceutical Program has been able to provide over $3.5 million worth of medication to its patients.

The Conway Interfaith Clinic needed an electronic medical records system to help improve the care and give it the ability to take on more patients. The clinic received several donations from Microsoft, including server software, Microsoft Office, and Publisher. It utilizes the server by running medical software, dental software, and patient assistance software. It has since been able to keep providing quality care to even more patients and to track donors.
