Job Readiness Training with Donated Software for South African Graduates
South African Graduates Development Association (SAGDA) empowers graduates to participate in the economy through high-impact programs, viable partnerships, and research.
It works towards its mission by motivating and supporting students to prepare for the world of work; enlisting the support of universities, FET colleges, sector education and training authorities, municipalities, and companies; mobilizing resources and stakeholders to support faster absorption of graduates into the economy; conducting research and providing intelligence on graduate empowerment; and offering reliable graduate database and empowerment solutions.
SAGDA has helped more than 200,000 students and graduates through its job readiness programs.
The organization received a donation of Windows XP and Office Professional Plus from SANGOTeCH, an online technology donation program run by TechSoup Global Network partner SANGOTeCH/NGO Pulse. Upgrading its software helped SAGDA to make its computer center accessible to graduates in a more efficient way.
