Software Donations Help the Dutch Burns Foundation Improve Care
The Dutch Burns Foundation (Nederlandse Brandwonden Stichting) works to prevent burns and to improve the treatment, nursing care, and quality of life for people with burns. The organization is supported by about 50 staff, 65,000 volunteers, and 35,000 donors.
The foundation received a donation through TechSoup Netherlands partners SOCIALware and Stichting GeefGratis, of Microsoft products. These donations helped the organization to focus more on its mission and less on IT issues.
