Like your organization, TechSoup is a nonprofit, so we know how critical it is to have a robust fundraising, grantseeking, and development program. To that end, TechSoup offers a selection of apps, tools, and services to allow you to more effectively fund your programs. Let's take a look.
GrantStation: Find Grants More Easily
GrantStation provides access to a database of 9,000 public and private funders that are actively accepting unsolicited proposals, applications, or letters of inquiry. In addition, GrantStation offers exclusive resources for planning your grantseeking strategy and writing better grant proposals.
A one-year membership normally costs $699, and it's typically available through TechSoup for $299. But on February 12 and 13, you can get a one-year GrantStation membership for only $99.
Connect2give: Accept Mobile Donations
Connect2give provides nonprofits with a toolkit of services that make it easier to communicate with and receive donations from your supporters via mobile devices. Among other things, Connect2give lets you accept "text to give" donations and build a mobile-friendly fundraising website.
PhilanTrack: Manage and Track Your Grantseeking Efforts
PhilanTrack helps you manage various facets of your grants program — from researching grantmakers to tracking deadlines to storing grant-related documents. And PhilanTrack for Foundations helps you streamline grantee management, generate reports, and analyze the financial health of the organizations you are looking to support.
HackerGuardian: Meet Payment Card Industry Security Standards
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a standard that organizations should meet if they accept credit card payments. HackerGuardian PCI DSS Compliance Scanning from Comodo assesses your systems and determines whether they meet the PCI DSS requirements. That way, you'll have a better idea of what you'll need to address.
TechSoup offers a discounted three-year subscription to this service for a $441 admin fee; organizations with budgets up to $1 million can request a donated subscription for a $67 admin fee.
We've Got the Payment Processing Solutions You Need
TechSoup offers standalone payment processing services from three providers: Dharma Merchant Services, Sage, and PayAnywhere.
Dharma Merchant Services provides discounted payment processing services to nonprofits, as well as the option to purchase credit/debit card and check processing equipment at a discounted rate. In addition, Dharma offers a PCI DSS compliance certification program to help you conform to payment card industry security requirements. Dharma does not require you to sign a service contract.
PayAnywhere focuses primarily on mobile payment processing, which makes it a good option if you need to accept credit and debit card payment while you travel or attend events. You don't need to pay monthly service fees, and PayAnywhere will provide you with the card reader you'll need to use its services.
